We are delighted to welcome prospective new members,  we don't pressurise people into joining when they first come down. You are welcome to come along for a few weeks and find out more about us before deciding if it is really what you want. Beginners courses normally begin in May, so unless you have some experience of paddling we suggest you wait until May to join.

When you do decide to join, various membership options are offered. These are detailed below. Prices are subject to change each year but are correct for 2019 membership. There are no river licenses or any other fees required for paddling at the club.

If you wish to compete, you will need to become a BCU member once you decide racing is for you. However, you can do one event with a special day ticket and juniors can enter the lower classes without being members.
